Based in Austin, Texas, I specialize in images of the natural and urban landscape. I spend most of my time working in front of a computer but my main occupation is not in photography. This is something I do for fun and as a creative outlet, since at least 2005,...or about 1996 if you count the years when I had a camera but no money for film.
What am I doing? Why do I do this? I don't know. I think Garry Winogrand said it best, "I photograph to find out what something will look like photographed." I like to find the interesting in the mundane. I like to look deeper at the details of things that don't necessarily deserve it. And of course, I like to gawk at the majesty of nature every chance I get. I hope you find some order in this chaos.
